This practice is contracted to provide a full range of essential general medical services and additional services in relation to cervical screening, contraceptive services, vaccinations and immunisations, child health surveillance, maternity medical services and minor surgery.
Antenatal Clinic
Family Planning
Available by appointment with any of the doctors. For emergency contraception speak to a receptionist.
Minor Surgery
Minor surgery procedures, ie removal of cysts, lumps, moles etc are carried out by appointment at the end of surgery by the doctor assisted by the nurse.
Appointments for this clinic should be made with the doctor.
Regular Check-Ups
All patients over the age of 16 and under 75 years old who have neither attended a consultation nor a clinic may request a consultation at the practice. Please contact reception staff to make an appointment.
A yearly medical is offered to all patients over 75 years on request.
Child Health Surveillance
These are routine clinics run by the practice nurse / health visitor and a GP who check your child's health and development at eight weeks and four years of age. The first immunisations and the pre-school booster are given at this clinic. Appointments are automatically sent out by computer and will usually come by post.
Immunisations And Vaccinations
Immunisations and vaccinations are carried out by appointment during surgery hours, except for those given at the child health surveillance clinic.
All adults should ensure they have their tetanus and polio up to date.

The Childhood vaccination schedule changed on 1 July 2025 and there have now been further changes from January 2026.
