REPEAT PRESCRIPTIONS

Please note - to order your repeat medication by telephone you should leave a message on our automated service line. Unfortunately we are no longer able to dedicate a member of staff to answer this type of call.

The following options are therefore available for ordering repeat medication:

24 hour automated telephone answering service

24 hour email service via website

By fax - 02870823413

The Fast-trak box available at the entrance to reception

Over the counter with a receptionist

It would help the receptionists if all items required in the next month could be ordered at the same time.

The prescription takes 48 hours to be processed so please don’t let your medicines run out. If you enclose a stamped, addressed envelope we can post your prescription to you.

Please don’t ask for repeat prescriptions during surgery consultations. At holiday times it is important to make sure that you have enough medication.

For your convenience you may now nominate a chemist of your choice to collect your prescription.

  • If ordering online select your choice from the drop down menu
  • When leaving a recorded message please add the name of the chemist who will collect
  • If using practice order forms please write in the name of your nominated chemist
  • If ordering with a receptionist please advise her if you wish it to be given to a chemist

IF YOU WISH TO USE THIS SERVICE IT IS IMPORTANT THAT YOU INFORM US EACH AND EVERY TIME YOU ORDER A PRESCRIPTION AS THE CHEMIST CANNOT COLLECT A SCRIPT UNLESS WE RECEIVE YOUR CONSENT

 Available Direct From The Chemist
Some medications are available from your chemist without a prescription. Please enquire at your local pharmacy for details about these 'over-the-counter' products.
